SATSANG
"Sat" means True (Good)
"Sang" means Company
"Sang" means Company
Therefore,
Satsang means the True Company. But whose company?
Company here
referred as a single individual like a Guru (Saint) or a group of people who
can present truth. Or in other words we can say discussing the truth of life is
known as Satsang.
Our country
comprises of various religions and corresponding gurus (saints) which speaks up
about the various positive things of life. However we are unable to understand
their views as it seems to be boring and most of the facts are well known to
us.
This is due
to the fact that majority of the guru speaks up the bookish language which is
described in our holy books. We all are aware that these books are the
foundations of our society but still bookish language make us unable to
understand the message.
Now, it is
neccesary for a guru or saint to make a platform of a lower level, means to
develop a message in line with the level, like of a common man, so that he can
easily understand the thought.
Speaker needs
to deliver the message with an example of daily life so that a common man can
understand. Message from our holy scriptures are very strong and only one
single phrase of it can answer many questions.
Summary:
For making the Satsang more effective, Guru can deliver the message with daily
life examples so it will be convenient for the individual to understand.
