IDOL WORSHIP (Murti Puja)

Many people across the world ask why Indians used to worship Gods in form of Idols. Due to advancement and modernization in their country they feel that we Indians are very superstitious and illiterate.

But they are unaware that we are still bounded by our basic roots, culture, religion and spirituality. We still carry our religion and beliefs so as to improve our life on daily basis.

Daily basis means, we use to pray god every day and chant mantras (hymns) which further provides us the mental and directs our mind for positive aspects of life. Whether we visit temple or not, still we have a small area in our homes for God, where we kept Idols of them.

WHY IDOLS OR TEMPLES?

Ancient scriptures of out mythology also direct us to follow the path of God. But as God is formless (Nirakar), and present everywhere, we must have not to question his existence, so as a part Temples and Idols came into existence.

This was just to remind everyone whether he is Atheist or Theist that God exist and we don't have to forget him.

Just take an example-

Air is everywhere, still we need Fan, AC to feel it. Same is the thing, God is everywhere still for sake of his presence we try to feel it in Idols and Temples.

Idols & Temples make us to remind of the Almighty God.

As we all know, God is also in us, in the form of Soul, we must have to approach him (God) by clears our doings whether positive or negative. But until we didn't found him in our self, keep worshiping him in form of Idols or in Temples.

This might help us the proper direction to found him inside.
